Should Animals be experimented on?

I belive that it is important that we do test on animals because it can help out a lot of people one day. People have experimented on baby humans, and the results were disturbing and terrible. I really think animals were put here so we can learn from them and I believe we have, from every animal at that. So in my opinion I dont think its wrong to experiment so we can learn more about mankind and how we could improve the future.
